Pathway Development Program
The HDNA Pathway Development Program has been designed specifically for athletes born in 2015 who aspire to trial for the 2027 HDNA 12 Years Representative Program. Only players registered in the HDNA 2026 Saturday competition are eligible to participate.
Rather than focusing solely on technical drills, this 4-week program develops the whole athlete through a games-based learning approach. Sessions are designed to improve decision-making, game awareness, confidence, resilience and technical execution within realistic game situations. Athletes will also learn what representative selectors look for, how to prepare mentally for trials, and strategies to perform under pressure. Parents will also be involved in a dedicated information session to ensure they understand how to best support their daughter throughout the representative selection process.
IMPORTANT NOTE ABOUT REP TRIALS
Pathway Development Program participants who wish to trial for a 2027 HDNA representative team must ALSO complete a separate rep trial nomination via our website and pay the required nomination fee. Participation in the Pathway Development Program does not guarantee selection into a representative team. This program is not a pre-requisite for trialling for a 2027 HDNA rep team.
