A major upgrade is set to transform Mudgeeraba’s Firth Park into a go-to venue for hosting major netball competitions on the Gold Coast. City of Gold Coast councillor Glenn Tozer says the upgrades will involve expanding from 17 to 24 courts. The City of Gold Coast funding will also go towards planning a high-performance centre to help create “stars of the future”. City of Gold Coast Councillor Glenn Tozer has been working with the Hinterland District Netball Association to plan major upgrades for Firth Park.
“Over the next three years, there’ll be $5 million allocated to the Firth Park netball courts in order to upgrade them and light them all,” Mr Tozer said.
